Being young in Limburg means growing up in a province with character. A place where people know each other. Where every village has a square, a soccer field, or a youth club.
In this series of publications, you read stories about growing up in the south: going camping together, practicing adventurous sports, discovering creativity, learning from nature, and playing games.
The stories below are created in collaboration with the youth organization JongNL Limburg. Photo: JongNL, camping in Beesel (1986).
JongNL aims to bring children and young people aged 4 to 18 together in as many places in Limburg as possible. JongNL Limburg is the provincial umbrella organisation of 36 local Limburg branches, with a total of 1,750 volunteers working weekly for 4,500 youth members. Through creative activities, challenging games and outdoor events and sports, they learn to work and live together.
